About

eciffo is the world's office database for people choosing where to work. For each company: pay by level, benefits, who works there, photos of the offices inside, the buildings, and every headquarters move since day one — with a source attached to each number.

How we build a profile

One company at a time, starting with the world's largest. We publish a company only once its profile is complete; profiles that are not finished yet are kept out of the site and out of search.

Where the numbers come from

The company's own annual report and proxy statement, its results releases, its official careers and benefits pages, and job postings that publish a pay range. Each section of a profile links to the source it came from, so any number can be checked.

What we refuse to do

• No estimates. If a company does not publish a figure, the field says so. A blank means it is not published — we do not fill it with a guess.
• No scores. We do not rate companies or offices out of five. Rankings on this site only sort the companies' own published numbers, with the fiscal year shown.
• Photos are credited. Every photo names its source. If a company would rather a photo were not shown, we take it down.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we would rather know. If it is your company’s office, use the claim form. For anything else, the contact page has the options.

Adding an office

Anyone can suggest one through the submission form. We ask for a link to the source, because a number without a source cannot go in.

Who runs it

eciffo is an independent project, not owned by or affiliated with any of the companies listed. It is funded by advertising, which is why the whole index stays free to read. For enquiries, see the contact page.
