Five buildings and a Pipeline
Wanting a more community-centric culture, Imperial moved its downtown Calgary operations to a campus in the suburb of Quarry Park in 2016. HOK designed the architecture and interiors: five low-rise office buildings linked by a 750-foot corridor called the "Pipeline." Large open floors with teaming spaces, wireless technology and unassigned "We3" neighbourhoods let people choose where to work, and every workstation has access to full-height windows. The campus has a 24-7 fitness and wellness center, a health clinic, a 25,000 sq ft cafeteria that seats 400, kitchenettes, an IT solution center and "The Summit" conference center.

Light from every desk
Every workstation on the campus has access to full-height windows and views outside, HOK says.
