A glass building on Grand Canal Square
Accenture's principal executive offices are at 1 Grand Canal Square in Dublin's docklands. DMOD Architects designed the building, completed in early 2006, as five storeys of offices over ground-floor shops, with a calm glass front facing the square and the dock. In 2017 DMOD rebuilt the reception: a large cylindrical lobby gave way to a lighter glass enclosure, light oak and stainless steel, lights that recall seagulls and cast-glass artworks by Killian Schurmann. On Level 4, MCA Architects fitted out Accenture's offices with natural materials and collaborative work areas for shared learning. A few minutes' walk along the dock, The Dock on Hanover Quay is Accenture's research and incubation hub, opened in 2017.
