THE HEAD OFFICES · DUBLIN AND BEACHWOOD, OHIO

Glass bricks on a Georgian street, and a glass crescent above a pond

Eaton's principal executive offices are at Eaton House, 30 Pembroke Road, Dublin 4. Pickard Chilton kept the structural frame of a 1970 office building on the site and wrapped it in cast glass bricks, letting in 38% more daylight across about 3,065 m² (33,000 sq ft), certified LEED Gold. In Ohio, the firm's Eaton Center sits on the crest of a 53-acre site in Beachwood, a Cleveland suburb: two crescent wings arc around a central tower overlooking a pond, with floor-to-ceiling glass, a wellness center, conference rooms, an auditorium, a cafeteria and walking trails. It brought employees from three facilities into one complex.
