THE HEAD OFFICE · RIVER LANDING, SASKATOON
A living wall at the top of Saskatchewan's tallest tower
Nutrien moved its Saskatoon operations to the top nine floors of the River Landing tower. Perkins&Will began with vision sessions, interviews, focus groups and an office-wide survey, and arrived at three principles: human connection, sustainability and user experience. Each floor carries the colours of one stage of Nutrien's “from mine, to farm, to you” story. Visitors arrive on the 17th floor to a living wall, custom carpet, starry lights and lounge furniture; across the floors are open neighbourhoods, work lounges, a wellness studio and gym, tech-free zones, a reflection room, gender-neutral washrooms and a smudging room that recognises the Indigenous people of the land.
