THE HEADQUARTERS · TASMAN DRIVE, SAN JOSE

A campus where every building is themed after a country

Cisco's headquarters is a corporate campus of dozens of low office buildings along Tasman Drive in North San Jose, on land Cisco first leased in 1993 — 46 acres beside the Guadalupe River. In a renovation of four buildings (349,000 sq ft) designed by NELSON, each building took the theme of a place where Cisco does business — Building 1 Japan, Building 2 Australasia, Building 19 Eastern Europe — with cafés cut into the building cores, free-address neighborhoods, and game, nap and yoga rooms.
