Silicon Labs reinvented its downtown Austin headquarters across two buildings at 200 and 400 West Cesar Chavez Street. Coming from a 100% closed-office layout, Gensler helped the company study different open-to-closed ratios and how they affected growth and workflow. Each level now has its own destination, connected by a central floating steel staircase. Amenity and collaboration spaces mix crisp finishes with warm tones and bold furniture, and new balconies on the second and third levels open onto city and lake views.
