Corgan's design for KDP's 350,000 sq ft headquarters and R&D facility in Frisco centres on the idea of “Balanced Recharge”: a place for more than 1,100 employees to feel energised, mingle and collaborate. End zone work lounges at the ends of each floor offer furniture for solo, small-group and team work, in warm, textured materials. Branding is less about advertising products than about the lifestyle of enjoying them, built into lighting, shapes and patterns — from a lenticular wall in the main reception to a two-story, bubble-inspired glass sculpture over the monumental stair. The interiors are certified LEED CI Gold.

Pharmacist Charles Alderton mixed fruit flavours at the Old Corner Drug Store in Waco, Texas; the drink became Dr Pepper. Its later bottling plant on Fifth Street and Mary Avenue is now the Dr Pepper Museum.
