A campus built around a “Main Street” and a park where the parking used to be
Snap's Santa Monica campus is organized along a central “Main Street” that links reception, cafés and gathering areas. The 3100 Building was turned from an engineering workspace into the campus front door, with a round floor-seating Council room and two courtyards. Outside, a former surface parking lot is now a park under petal-shaped shade canopies, next to an amenity building whose façade takes its cue from Snap's Ghostface Chillah logo.

The company was formed in 2010 as Future Freshman, LLC, and renamed Toyopa Group, LLC in 2011. That year the app launched on iOS as Picaboo, then was renamed Snapchat.
