An office at Tokyo Station rebuilt as a place to meet
Recruit moved its headquarters to GranTokyo South Tower, next to Tokyo Station, in 2008. Since work no longer assumes coming in, Recruit treats the office as a place for gathering and face-to-face talk, under the idea “CO-EN” (a park, Co-Encounter). A renewal finished in March 2023 covered 21 floors of the building and other sites while people kept working there; every floor got its own CO-EN lounge that each department decorates, and all desks are unassigned. The 22nd floor became the CO-EN floor: six gathering spaces and a dining room.
