THE NEWEST OFFICE · CULTUREHUB · DECEMBER 2025

A loop-shaped office where the furniture tells the story of reuse

On December 1, 2025 Mercari left the 18th floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, its home for about ten years, for floors 25 and 26. Kokuyo designed the space around a route that circles the whole floor, with places to talk along the way. The “Mercari Wall” at the entrance is lined with items bought on Mercari, graphics of the four values mark each doorway, and ten creator teams made “circular” furniture — including bleacher seating from Hida forest deadstock wood that seats 30.
