A $160 million makeover for a campus that had outgrown itself

In 2018 T-Mobile renewed its Bellevue lease through 2030 and began a $160 million renovation with its landlord Ivanhoe Cambridge. Gensler joined the separate buildings with colorful skybridges, built two amenity floors with six dining kiosks, a Starbucks, a pub and a vintage Airstream serving frozen yogurt, and moved most people to unassigned desks — high-top tables, lounges, huddle rooms and quiet rooms.

  • 40,000 sq ft (≈ 3,716 m²) amenity centerpiece
  • 1,000 sq ft grand staircase = amphitheater
