THE HEADQUARTERS OFFICE · TOKYO

We Labo: a head office that doubles as a lab

Okamura calls We Labo its head office. Opened in August 2022 on floors 24–26 of the New Otani Garden Court in Kioicho, it brings together the executives, corporate departments, product and space designers and sales. Each floor has its own idea: 26F “EYES” around the executive area, a boardroom and an open Hub Lounge; 25F “EARS” with activity-based workspaces wrapped in plants; and 24F “HANDS”, a workshop-like floor for thinking alone and making things together. Anyone can choose where to work across the three floors. In 2025 the 25th floor was rebuilt as a street under trees and deep eaves, where people from every department mix.
